Mailing Service's state of the art PTI/Lockheed Martin bar-coding
machine is capable of reading addresses, applying barcodes and sorting
mail at a rate of 10,000 pieces per hour. First Class and Standard
Automation mailings can be mailed for fraction of the full postage rate
due to the sorting techniques of the bar-coding machine. This
allows the post office to skip several steps and send the sorted mail
